Idaho State University’s Kasiska College of Health Professions hadn’t published an alumni newsletter in over a decade. After attempts to arrive at a satisfactory design and content plan using internal resources failed to produce a satisfactory solution, the college turned to Rave Communications. Working directly with the dean’s office, Rave Communications quickly produced a master design, developed a positioning statement for the college, outlined a content plan that will guide future editions’ content, and developed a unique look for the college’s newsletter, while ensuring it stayed in compliance with the university’s graphic standards. Rave Communications provided editing services, including advising the college on which articles and features should be included in this critical first edition, and editing individual articles. Rave Communications also managed the printing and mailing to 6,000 college alumni at a cost that was lower than that of the university’s own printing plant.

2007 marked the 25th anniversary of Idaho State University’s “I Love ISU” community scholarship drive. Hoping for “something different” in its advertising, ISU’s Foundation office turned to Rave Communications. The result was a TV spot that departed from the usual “institutional” solutions, brought energy and fun to the advertising, and demonstrated the diversity of students who are being helped with the scholarships generated through “I Love ISU.” Volunteer callers from the business community commented on how much they enjoyed the campaign. Rave Communications also designed a special 25th Anniversary version of the “I Love ISU” logo.
